Isaac Brine

May 8, 1944-February 26, 2010

Moncton, N.B.- It is with sadness that the family of Isaac Brine, announce his passing on Friday, February 26, 2010 at the Moncton Hospital. He was 65 years of age.

Born in Scotland on May 8, 1944, he was the son of the late William and Isabella (Newlands) Brine.

Isaac was very proud of his family and was excited to introduce his sons and grandchildren to everyone around him. He showed the true meaning of strength, having dealt with many trials and tribulations in his life. He met his wonderful wife Marie and turned his life around, showing everyone that if you don’t give up, you can get through anything. Isaac was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Isaac will be sadly missed by his wife, Marie (Fougere) of Moncton, N.B.; two sons, Robert (Kelley) Brine of Amherst, N.S. and Calvin (Maria) Brine of Brampton, Ontario; sister, Patsy (Ronnie) Beal of Dorchester, N.B.; three brothers, John Brine of Amherst, N.S., Tommy (Marlene) Brine of Oshawa, Ontario and Jimmy Brine of Ontario; four grandchildren and one step-grandchild.

He was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Annie Wallace and by his granddaughter, Emily.

Arrangements are entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188). Cremation has taken place and the family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Monday, March 1, 2010 from 6-9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 2 PM at Campbell’s Funeral Home with Father Vernon Driscoll officiating. Burial will take place in the spring in the Holy Rosary St. Vincent’s Catholic Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Isaac may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of ones choice.
