It is with sadness that the family of Annie R. Estabrooks announce her passing at the Sackville Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Annie was 92 years of age.

Born in Mount View, N.B. on April 17, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Bertha (Mitton) Estabrooks.

Annie enjoyed quilting, doing puzzles and needlepoints. For most of her life, Annie ran a “restaurant” at the farm, making sure that everyone was fed and that she always had enough food for everyone. She was an animal lover and especially loved her dogs and cats.

Annie will be sadly missed by her sister, Eileen Babcock of Sackville; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and by a great-great nephew.

She was pre-deceased by her three brothers, Weldon, Raymond and Herman and by an infant brother; brother-in-law, Ronald Babcock; sister-in-law, Evelyn Estabrooks and by her nephew, Allan Babcock.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (364-8188).
